the left will be Nano Banana 2, but this time on the right will be Nano Banana Pro. And I use that same prompt we used before where we want that major Hollywood studio with that explosion scene. And comparing the two of these, I got to say, I like Nano Banana 2 more than Nano Banana Pro. Just look at the difference. This one just has a lot more detail in my opinion than the one on the right. And it really feels a lot more immersive. I was pretty surprised when I saw those results because remember pro is like a pro version and Nano Banana 2 is just like the regular version. I know it's the newest one, but I would still expect pro to maybe be a little bit better. But in this case, I just like two a lot more. This was just one example though. So let's see what else I made. So for this one, uh again, this is the cinematic street scene at night, the cyberpunk style. And once again, Nano Banana Pro sort of has that same feel as the regular Nano Banana where it just feels a little bit flat and washed out compared to the one that Nano Banana 2 made. So, two for Nano Banana 2. Uh, again, very surprised by this. Here's where things get a little bit interesting. Again, I gave both of them the same prompt. And just looking at the images my face, first of all, I like Nano Banana 2 better. It looks a lot more natural. The shadows on my face is a little bit more detail to it, but it's very, very close. However, Nano Banana Pro did a better job at intelligently thinking through what this thumbnail should look like. Inside my prompt, I basically told it to take this image of myself and create a thumbnail from it. And in that thumbnail, I want a computer screen and a screenshot on that computer screen. Now, Nano Banana 2 fumbled this. They didn't quite understand what to put on the computer screen, so just put the original image of myself on the computer screen, which obviously isn't what I'm going for. Now, no Banana Pro was a lot more intelligent, and actually put something on the laptop screen. I also feel like the text is just a little bit more legible here for a thumbnail. So, I would give the win here to Nano Banana Pro, but just slightly. And there are things I do like more about what Nano Banana 2 created. This next example is again the infographic, the same one as before. And again, I have mixed thoughts on this. I think the one that was created by Nano Banana Pro is a lot clearer. It shows step by step how to go through the process of buying a used car, and it is very clear. Also, looking this over, I don't see any mistakes in terms of letters that are all messed up. The one that was created by Nano Banana 2 looks more impressive. It created like this road map for you of how to go through the process of buying a used car. There seems to be a lot more detail in here and little images as well. Also, looking through this, I didn't find any mistakes. However, it's not as clear. We have step one, two, three, four, and then step five is over here, which is fine, but sort of this road map, it seems like you should follow it. And it's a little bit confusing because it doesn't quite make sense. So, this one feels more impressive, but I think the one on the right is just a little bit more clear. It's very neck andneck for me, and I think it really comes down to personal preference. But for this next example, for me, there is a clear winner. Here I asked each model to create this sort of miniature hero scene of a little mouse. And I like the one that was created by Nano Banana 2 more. The shadows are great. The lighting is great. All the little details. The one that was made by Nano Banana Pro looks fine. It just feels a little more flat than the one that was made on the left. But I don't want you to think that I'm just praising Nano Banana 2 and it doesn't have any faults because there were some tests that I did where it fumbled a lot more. So here for each of these I uploaded an image of myself. This is a party I went to recently. It was like an 80s themed party. So I wore this outfit that is a real image. I can't believe I have to say that these days, but yes, that is a real image. And then I threw both of them into Gemini and asked them to make this look more8s. Now Nano Banana Pro did a great job at this. You can see right here that it kind of surrounded me by a boom box, all these neon lights, all these posters. It looks a little bit fake, but it got the vibe right and it's still me. Nano Banana 2 really struggled with this. It made actually a fantastic looking image and it feels more realistic than the one that was made with Pro. It even has this little date stamp on the bottom right. It improved the rug. It feels like more like a real image. But that's not me. That's not me at all. It totally changed up the character. So I gave it another shot. This time I gave the same prompt, but I said maintain the character consistency and it did a better job, but it's still not me. Nana Banana Pro, every time I've used it, it's just really great at character consistency. And Nanata 2 really struggled with this one for some reason. For this next example, I gave each of them a very detailed prompt to see if they were able to follow instructions. So, I asked for an image of a transparent glass pyramid on the left side of a table. In the middle is a leatherbound book that's open to a handdrawn sketch of a dragonfly. And on the right is a yellow mug with black polka dots and steam rising out of the mug. And looking at both of them, they both did equally as good of a job, I would say, and they both failed in the same department. So, the book in the middle isn't open to a page. It has a dragonfly on the cover. So, they both messed up the same thing. The mugs for both of them look great. And I'll say the pyramids look great for them as well. And the other thing I wanted was a reflection of the mug in the glass pyramid. And both of them interpreted this a little bit differently. The one that was made by Nano Banana 2 did a very good job of literally just reflecting it. and the one on the right which is now to Banana Pro. It's a little bit more abstract but it's the right idea. Like that's actually what it could look like in this case. Again, it's neck andneck. I think both of them are equally as good and they both have faults with them as well. Now, one place where I found that Nano Banana 2 absolutely destroys Nano Banana Pro is putting yourself into famous movies or onto sets of famous movies. I mean, just look at the difference between the two of these. This looks pretty good. Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro looks funny in my opinion. It really looks like I paid someone like five bucks to Photoshop my face onto the face of someone else who is on the set of Star Wars. It just doesn't look good. The one on the left, it looks a lot more realistic. And I found that was pretty consistent. So, here's one from Pirates of the Caribbean. And again, look at the one from Nab Banana Pro. Yeah, I mean it's okay, but it's nowhere near as good as the one from Nano Banana 2. Now, there
