It's more to do with like a shift in attitude. speed is kind of like prioritized more than it maybe was in the past because there's this sort of like expectation and this urgency around like you know because of AI everyone can start anyone can start a company on their own and anyone can like write a software app in an afternoon or even in an hour that attitude has kind of uh led to um this is kind of what some of the experts in the piece hypothesized but it's overall just like led to um kind of a decline in standards. One expert said something along the lines of like companies are putting out, you know, maybe subpar software products because they're trying to see where the like hello the floor is essentially like what the public is willing to accept, what users are customers are willing to accept. — Are there solutions or are we just on a downward trajectory? — My opinion is like tell companies what you do and don't want from their product. Um, I think in many cases like at scale negative user feedback does shift company behavior and positive feedback. If you see a company that or a brand that like stands out and you're like, "Hey, like you're putting out like a good product right now and in an era of, you know, perhaps declining standards and I want to give you my money. I want you to know that I appreciate that. " So, it's voting with your wallet. using your voice as consumers.
