So, what's going on guys? Gabriel here with a fresh new course. This time for Godo users. It's the first time I make a course with this game engine focused on visual effects for games and I had a blast. It was really fun and it came out great. I previously did a couple of courses for Unity and Real Engine and I intend to do more for each engine, but I never did one for God and I really wanted to create a course focused on visual effects for God in a beginner level. It's now available on my website for the first time as well, but I also made it available on Udemy and on Skillshare. Make sure to use the links below. It's very user friendly, very beginner friendly, even if you are from Unreal or from Unity. And we create these kind of effects. It's really great and I think it came out nice. And now I'm going to play the trailer. Welcome everyone. Are you ready to learn how to create visual effects for games? Because that's what this course is all about. On this beginnerfriendly approach, you will gain the ability to create magic effects or even explosions for your games. You will learn the ins and outs of creating spells or even cast curses on your enemies. We are going to use goto particle system and visual shader node based tool so you can begin exploring shaders as well in a friendly way. We will specifically begin by making some sparks so you can easily get familiar with Godo's particle system and then we will quickly progress to something a bit more advanced like this awesome blue mage AoE and even this fiery version. And then we will move on to this pretty cool spell projectile where we will see how to create the muzzle projectile with the trail and the impact as well. And after that we will create a lightning alternate version. So come on and join me. I'm Gabriel Agar, your host, founder of the game company Golden Bug Studios and of the YouTube channel Gabriel Gia Prod, which is close to 13 million views related to gamedev, but more specifically visual effects for games. And if you also want to learn visual effects for games in Unity or in Unreal, we also have courses on those engines. Check out my profile here to learn more about that. On this Godo course, you are also going to experience material maker, a substance designer alternative that will help you a lot to create procedural mode based textures because textures are one of the most crucial parts when building visual effects for games. Plus, it's a tool made with code. We will not only create effects, but you will also see the core concepts that make up a good visual effect. We will see good and bad practices in the theory section at the beginning and how to develop visually interesting effects. And it doesn't matter if you come up from a programmer background, illustrative, animator, 3D generalist because this course will take you from a beginner standpoint to an intermediate visual effects artist for games. And we will calmly walk you through the softwares and the techniques needed. So, I hope you can join me and I will be super glad to teach you how to create this kind of magic.
