Launching Blender in Windows 11 vs Kubuntu 25.10 (Speed comparison)

I need to show something crazy. So, I've installed Linux and Windows on the same machine, but Blender behaves differently. It's so wild. So, this is on Windows 11. I'm going to open Blender, and we're going to see how long it takes. So, this is a fresh startup of Windows. This is the first time I'm launching Blender. So, let me launch Blender like this. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7. Okay, 7 maybe 6 or 7. That is crazy. Okay, so now I'm going to reboot, and I'm going to launch Linux, and we're going to see how fast that is. Okay, so now I'm rebooting into Kubuntu, which is the Linux distro I chose. Okay, so this is Linux. I'm using Kubuntu. So, now let's try and start Blender. 3 2 1. Boom. Look at that. Less than a second. You can just do this all day. It's This would take so much longer on Windows. And it actually renders up to 20% faster as well in my testing. So, Kubuntu is really good, I think.
